<reviewbody>Quite an excellent little guilt inducing propoganda, telling workers not to waste their time and just concentrate on work all day long, or ELSE. Nice montage of factory shots then turn to two case studies. A bullet inspector named Jean who sneaks out for a smoke, but that one bullet she forgot to inspect, of course, means dire consequences to the soldier in battle! Another story has a purchasing manager who puts off an order for lifeboats to watch a baseball game. Those lifeboats couldve saved someone's life! Are you feeling guilty yet? Quite an effective film, and is reccomended!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Quentin Compson tore the hands off his pocketwatch before he jumped into the Charles River. Tick tick tick. Pay this much attention to time and your superego will eat you alive. Good propaganda, nice cigarette smoke meets clockface expressionism, cute girl lets an honest GI meet his Maker over a Lucky!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Strident WWII propaganda film that warns war workers of the danger of slacking off, even for a second. Occasional periods of R & R are shown to have dire consequences for the soldiers fighting the war. I guess they hadnt heard of the concept of burnout yet. This makes the film pretty campy. A quintessential propaganda piece with some striking modernistic visuals.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: ***. Weirdness: ***. Historical Interest: *****. Overall Rating: ****.</reviewbody>
